Early in his life, Alex Lovelace became interested in fitness through sports. Alex participated in soccer and wrestling throughout his youth and went on to play two years of collegiate soccer. His passion for fitness has continued to grow over the years and he currently stays active by running, spinning, weight training, and playing in soccer tournaments around Michigan.
Alex is entering his last semester of college and is finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education at the University of Michigan – Flint. Over the last few years, Alex has developed his expertise in the health field by working in various training settings. For two years, Alex worked as a physical therapy technician and helped individuals restore their physical strength, mobility, and their muscle endurance by guiding patients through therapeutic exercises. Alex has also worked as a certified personal trainer at an Ann Arbor fitness center and has assisted clients as they worked towards obtaining their own personal fitness goals. He is certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and has worked with a variety of patients and clients who have all had different goals, fitness levels, and emotional and physical obstacles.
